Master & Dynamic very graciously sent me a set of their MW07+ earphones for the purpose of review. This review is my personal opinion, and I have not been paid. Master & Dynamic is a well-established personal audio brand, and gained popularity with the release of their truly wireless earphones, MW07. The MW07+ were released concurrently with the MW07 Go and are the most expensive wireless earphones made by M&D.
The unboxing experience was very smooth, with the box containing the earphones and accessories placed inside a sleeve. Upon opening the top door of the box reveals two sections: one with the earbuds inside their case, and another with the accessories and a quick-start guide. The materials are high quality and the presentation is superb. Overall build quality is sublime. The stainless steel charging case is incredibly sturdy and displays very little horizontal play between the lid and body. The steel has, over time, developed a lot of scratches. Some people (myself included) enjoy this look, but it can be easily avoided by using the included pouch, which uses a strong closure mechanism.
Comfort is below average for me. After around 2 hours in my ears, my ears become sore. I’m, for the record, using the smallest possible tips and wings. I have very small ears, so your mileage may vary, but I find them to be slightly uncomfortable for extended listening sessions.

This is a consumer-focused V-shaped tuning with a little more treble extension than average. Great for hip-hop and rock music. This is a fun tuning. There’s a lot of bass here. Perhaps, in places, even, too much bass. But it’s wonderful. Like butter. When I want to listen to drum-heavy music, these are my go-to. The mids are necessarily recessed, but I’m honestly surprised by how intelligible vocals still are. They’re a little far back for my taste, but I certainly enjoy this sound for certain music. Well-refined. As far as treble is concerned, it’s nearly as prominent as the bass. I can see this being a turn-off for some people, as these are the definition of V-shaped. Sparkly hi-hats and cymbals are very present in just about any song that uses them. Expect to hear the cowbell in “Don’t Fear The Reaper” all the way through. May be problematic for treble-sensitive people.
These possess an impressively large soundstage for earbuds. Music feels really open in these. They almost feel like cans sometimes, and I have to remind myself I’m listening through wireless earbuds. Imaging and separation is good. I can precisely place instruments in the mix, but I can’t really separate them all that well.
The MW07+ are ANC capable, but the cancellation is sub-par. They do an okay job cancelling low and consistent sounds, but higher sounds (like human voices) come straight through. Ambient listening mode, however, is the best I’ve heard aside from that found on Apple’s AirPods Pro. Ambient mode is very good.
These are incredibly fun earbuds for everyday use. Their large size may be too much for some with smaller ears, but if you’re looking for high-quality truly wireless earbuds, these are your clear winner, at least as far as sound quality is concerned.
